Are Rihanna and Drake dating again? Well, you be the judge. They were caught pretty close and intimate at a recent party for Drake’s NYC concert. Hmm…I don’t know, but if you ask me they looked suspiciously like boyfriend and girlfriend, again.

Jay Z and Kanye West were both looking mighty sharp at a New York City event last week. Hmmm. Who looks better? I don’t know, they both have the same level of sharpness to me. But the big question is, “who is the better man?” What do you think? Make a comment and let us know.

Rapper T.I. is in trouble again…this time for drug possession. Police found a bunch of styrofoam cups in his Maybach on September 1. Styrofoam is typically used to create a concoction called “sizzurp,” which is a syrup made of codeine – a narcotic. However, the good news is that after testing the cups, the police found “no evidence” of sizzurp in the cups. T.I., however, did test positive for opiates – so he was probably doing crack or cocaine. Get your act together man!

So, now that you know how much rappers make per album – not all that much, you know that most of their money is generated from their concerts. So how much money is it that they make from the concerts…let’s break it down: As you may have figured, a lot depends on how many people the rapper is able to attract to the concert. This is the reason, concerts have several rappers as part of the venue – because multiple rappers attract many more people than a single rapper by himself. In any case, here are the numbers, let’s say the average ticket price is $60, and 10,000 people show up. That’s a total of $600,000 generated from ticket sales. In addition, lots of promotional products, food and drinks are sold. When you take everything into account, you can say about $800,000 is generated in total. The rapper obviously does not get all of this money because a significant amount has to be deducted for promotion – to the tune of 90%. Still, the rapper gets to pocket 10%, which is $80,000 – not bad for only a day’s work, huh!
