Ciara is going to play the leading role in the Off-Broadway gospel musical which also stars Patti LaBelle and Lynn Whitfield. CodeBlack Entertainment will start the production in Baton Rouge Louisiana next month. The theatrical release is scheduled for February of 2008. The Foxfaith label will aid in that release. Â
